People Moves: UBS Asset Management appoints Andrew Morris as Head of Infrastructure Equity from CPP Investments
Press Release - UBS Asset Management has confirmed the appointment of Andrew Morris as Head of Infrastructure Equity, within its Real Estate & Private Markets group. Effective 13 June 2022, Andrew joins REPM's USD 5.2 billion (as of 31 December 2021) infrastructure platform in a newly created role to further develop its presence and increase the business's investment opportunities globally.
In his new role, Andrew will leverage his experience gained over a 23-year career to drive the expansion of REPM's infrastructure equity investment activity, through its global platform of funds and mandates. He will be based in London and report to Tommaso Albanese, Head of Infrastructure at UBS Asset Management.
Andrew has worked on approximately USD 20 billion of equity transactions during his career. He joins UBS from Canadian Pension Plan Investments where he was a Managing Director, Infrastructure, Real Assets, and an investment committee member, responsible for originating, executing and managing private and public markets investments in transport, energy and telecommunications infrastructure, and managing an equity portfolio of approximately USD 38 billion (as of 31 March 2022).
