People Moves: State Street appoints Amani Boros as Head of ESG
Memo - State Street Corporation (NYSE:STT) has announced the appointment of Amani Boros as Head of ESG for State Street International GmbH (SSBI). Based in Zurich, Boros will lead SSBI's sustainability and ESG efforts. Ms. Boros will develop and oversee the ESG strategy and lead interactions with clients, regulators and stakeholders in providing advisory and integrating ESG across SSBI.
Boros has a strong track record in the ESG space. Before her most recent role as director at Thomson Reuters, Amani was the head of Risk and Control for the Sustainability, Strategy and Finance Group at Credit Suisse, where she was responsible for ESG risk management and supporting the Group in setting the sustainable strategy and facilitating sustainable investments. Boros won the prestigious Women In Banking & Finance 'Young Professional Award' and was one of the Top 8 Future Leaders in the Ethnicity Awards. Boros has a deep passion for gender empowerment and previously founded Amatte Group in 2018, a direct trade social impact company supporting female farmers across Africa.
