People Moves: New Chair for West Sussex Economic Growth Board

Media Release -- The West Sussex Economic Growth Board (WSEGB) has appointed Henry Powell as its new independent Chair, marking an important step in strengthening the county’s strategic approach to economic development. In this role, Henry will work closely with local authorities, business leaders, and key partners to champion sustainable growth, support innovation, and help create opportunities for residents and employers across West Sussex.

With extensive experience in business leadership and partnership working, Henry brings a fresh, independent perspective to the Board. His appointment underlines WSEGB’s commitment to collaboration, long-term planning, and a thriving local economy that is resilient, inclusive, and well-positioned for future challenges and opportunities.
