People Moves: CBRE IM welcomes Nathalie Viens as Head of Asset Management to lead on Private Infrastructure
Press Release (CBRE IM) -- Nathalie Viens has joined CBRE Investment Management as Managing Director and Head of Asset Management for the firm's Private Infrastructure Strategies. In this role, she is responsible for developing and managing CBRE IM's Private Infrastructure asset management strategy and implementation across the portfolio, including value creation, sustainability initiatives, risk management, reporting and other key activities. Nathalie is a member of the firm's Direct Private Infrastructure investment committee.
Nathalie has extensive operational and asset management experience in renewable energy, transport and fiber sectors. Prior to joining CBRE IM, she was an Operating Partner in CDPQ Infrastructure Group's global portfolio, where she was responsible for developing and executing asset management strategies across the portfolio as well as supporting companies in the portfolio through operational improvement initiatives. She also had prior leadership roles with Veolia Canada, SNC-Lavalin, and Accenture.
Nathalie earned both her bachelor's and master's degrees in chemical engineering from Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal. She also holds a Professional Engineer certificate for the province of Quebec and is a Certified Project Management Professional and a Certified Corporate Director.
