People Moves: DLA Piper adds Itxaso López as Partner to its Real Estate team
SPAIN (Media Report) -- DLA Piper has hired Itxaso López as a partner in its Real Estate department in Madrid. The move, announced on 21 April 2026, adds a practitioner with more than 20 years of experience advising international investors on national and multi-jurisdictional real estate transactions to the firm's Spanish practice.
López joins from Dentons, where she had been a Partner since 2022. A graduate of the Universidad de Deusto, her practice covers the acquisition, financing and development of asset classes including offices, logistics warehouses, hotels, shopping centres, residential assets and land for development, with particular expertise in urban planning, asset management and construction. In recent years she has also played an active role in European ESG initiatives within the real estate legal sector.
