People Moves: CBRE appoints Amanda Stevenson from Adapt Sustainability as Head of Investor Strategy for ESG
Press Release - Global real estate advisor, CBRE, has announced the appointment of Amanda Stevenson as Head of Investor Strategy within its ESG Consultancy team.
Amanda joins from Adapt Sustainability Consulting Limited, a boutique sustainability consultancy offering ESG services to real estate, asset management and technology companies. In her role as Founder and Director, Amanda was responsible for developing a holistic ESG strategy service offering that focused on identifying ESG initiatives that would improve performance, minimize risk and ultimately support a client's overarching business strategy. Amanda has led projects to develop net-zero carbon programmes and has extensive experience preparing leading client responses to ESG disclosures such as CDP and GRESB.
Prior to this, Amanda served as the Head of Sustainability at a prime Central London REIT, Capital & Countries Properties Limited, where she managed the implementation of the sustainability strategy across standing assets at Covent Garden and the development portfolio.
In her new role, Amanda will be responsible for leading and managing the UK Investor Strategy ESG team, focusing on delivering sustainability initiatives for CBRE's extensive funds and investor clients. In addition, she will be advising clients on climate transition plans, identifying, managing and reporting climate risks, and compiling disclosures with TCFD and SFDR.
CBRE's 70-strong ESG Consultancy team has a successful track record of achieving excellent results for a wide range of clients. The team has also been awarded a number of accolades, including Winner of the 2021 EDIE Sustainability Leaders Award for Employee Engagement and Behaviour Change Initiative of the Year.
