People Moves: Bidwells appoints Charu Gupta as Energy & Sustainability Lead

Media Article (The Planner) -- Bidwells, the UK property consultancy, has announced the appointment of Charu Gupta as Energy and Sustainability Lead.

Gupta joins from engineering firm CWC (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) consultancy, where she worked as the building performance engineering lead. Prior to CWC, Gupta was employed by international real estate consultancy Hollis, working as the ESG and physics lead for their decarbonisation services and operational energy-related schemes.

She will champion energy and carbon reduction across Bidwells's science and tech, education, mixed-use and industrial projects, providing advice to clients on how to decarbonise both their new and existing assets in the built environment.

Gupta said: "My technical expertise will allow me to advise the company's forward-thinking client base on decarbonisation strategies, in turn helping to future-proof assets that might be browning at an alarming rate."
