People Moves: Aktia Fund Management Company appoints Anna Vaissi as new CEO
Press Release - Aktia Fund Management Company, the subsidiary of Finnish asset manager, bank and life insurer, Aktia Group Plc has appointed Anna Vaissi as its new CEO, effective immediately. Vaissi has worked with legal assignments at Aktia during the period 2007-2019 and since 2020 she has been focusing on Aktia's fund operations. She currently has the role of Legal & Risk Manager at Aktia Fund Management Company. In addition, Vaissi is chair of the Fund and Asset Management Executive Committee at Finance Finland.
Vaissi will start as CEO on 1 June 2022. The current CEO of Aktia Fund Management Company, Nils Lundberg, will focus on leading the Operations business within Aktia Asset management and continue as a member of the Executive Committee of the asset management business.

Aktia Fund Management Company Ltd is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Aktia Bank plc. The primary task of the company is to manage investment funds and alternative investment funds.
Changes have also taken place in the Board of Directors of the Fund Management Company. Timo Penttilä was appointed to the Board of Directors as of 30 March 2022. Penttilä has the role of Professor of Practice at the Department of Finance of the School of Business of Aalto University and has extensive experience of managerial duties in the financial sector.
