Royal Economic Society announces Call for Papers — Special Issue on Labour Market Effects of Immigration with Micro-Data
London (Press Release) – The Royal Economic Society (RES) has issued a distinguished Call for Papers for a forthcoming special issue of The Economic Journal, titled "Labour Market Effects of Immigration with Micro Data." This Special Issue seeks high-quality empirical contributions employing micro-level or individual-level data to examine the multifaceted impacts of immigration on labour markets. Submissions are invited on topics such as wage dynamics, employment transitions, labour force participation, and macro-micro linkages—all underpinned by rigorous micro-data analysis.
The Editor of IBR Group International is pleased to announce their intent to submit a paper to respond to this eminent Call for Papers. The paper will leverage rich micro-data to shed light on the labour market repercussions of immigration, contributing to the evidence base that informs policy and academic discourse.
The deadline for submissions is set for 15 October 2025.
