People Moves: Knight Frank appoints Nick Braybrook as Head of Global Capital Markets
Media Article (BE News) -- Knight Frank has appointed Nick Braybrook as Head of Global Capital Markets. In his new role, Braybrook, who has been at Knight Frank for more than 30 years, will be responsible for coordinating more than 250 capital markets advisers around the world, while continuing to lead the London capital markets & development team.
As well as collaborating with capital market heads in six regions around the world and Knight Frank Capital Advisory, he will work with the private office β an international team delivering bespoke real estate services for global high-net-worth individuals.
Braybrook said: "Responding to our clients' needs and enhancing collaboration and connectivity across the regions is a key part of our capital markets strategy.
"The global real estate investment market continues its steady recovery in volumes, but it has also become nuanced. There is much greater activity from private capital, [with] new sectors such as data centres showing very strong growth, the living sectors remaining a dominant focus and now offices starting to show signs of real recovery β and all this with the added complexity of ever-changing geopolitics."
Knight Frank senior partner and group chair, William Beardmore-Gray, added: "A hugely respected leader already, Nick has led on some of London's most significant transactions, while also growing the London capital markets and development team. Nick's appointment marks a significant step forward in implementing our new global capital markets strategy and underlines our commitment to growth, innovation, and excellence in capital markets."
