UBS nominates Colm Kelleher to succeed Axel Weber as Chairman
Former Morgan Stanley President Colm Kelleher is set to succeed UBS Chairman Axel Weber in next year's upcoming shareholder meeting according to a press memo released by the bank yesterday
November 22, 2021 -- The Board of Directors of UBS have announced that it will nominate Colm Kelleher as new Chairman for election to the Board at the Annual General Meeting on 6 April 2022. If elected, Colm Kelleher will succeed Axel Weber, who will have reached the maximum term limit after ten years in office and will thus not stand for re-election.
On the nomination of Mr Kelleher, Chairman of the UBS Board of Directors Axel Weber said:
