Investec bolsters London PIF team with two senior appointments

Kavita Jacobs and Sarah Aitken join Investec's Power & Infrastructure Finance team to strengthen the firm's institutional advisory offering

October 16, 2021 -- One of the world's leading institutional asset managers, Investec has hired two senior appointments based in London to strengthen its capabilities across infrastructure project finance, real assets and capital markets. 

The appointment of Kavita Jacobs, who joins from Natixis, where she was Managing Director - Private Credit Sales, Real Assets, and before that, Head of Global Distribution Risk - was announced last month. At Investec, Jacobs will be responsible for distributing PIF assets originated by the bank, building and maintaining relationships with institutional investors in the UK and internationally. She will be based in Investec's London office.

Sarah Aitken who joins from Legal & General Investment Management where she was Senior Asset Manager, Private Credit - Infrastructure and prior to that, Portfolio Director, Infrastructure & Energy, Lloyds Banking Group, will be responsible for managing all PIF assets and maintaining relationships with all project stakeholders.

Both Jacobs and Aitken will report to Ralph Cho and Michael Pantelogianis, the Co-Heads of Power & Infrastructure Finance at Investec.
