Goldman Sachs appoints its "Class of 2021", names 643 Managing Directors

Goldman circulated the biennial list on Tuesday comprising of 643 senior executives to be promoted as of 1 January 2022

November 06, 2021 -- Goldman Sachs, one of the world's pre-eminent investment banking institutions, has released a press memo announcing the promotion of 643 executives to the coveted position of Managing Director. The list, published on Tuesday, includes a selection of Corporate Vice-Presidential and SVP nominees.

David Solomon,  John Waldron and Stephen Scherr commented on the list of appointments:

"We expect that our new managing directors will continue to represent the best of Goldman Sachs and bring their unique skills and perspectives to their roles as they join our cohort of current managing directors, all of whom are instrumental in driving our firm forward.
